About the OpportunityA large organisation is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to support a Capacity Expansion Program. This role involves designing and implementing infrastructure solutions across multiple domains, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and supporting future growth. The Infrastructure Architect will provide technical expertise, guide the commissioning of critical infrastructure components, and collaborate with key stakeholders to align solutions with project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in the following areas:
- Core facility infrastructure – design and commission communications rooms, structured cabling, and antenna systems.
- Wired and wireless networks – support network design, connectivity, and configuration.
- Telephony and messaging – assist with deployment of handsets and messaging solutions.
- End User Computing (EUC) – oversee procurement, transition, and installation of user devices and software.
- Servers and storage – assist in provisioning and capacity planning.
- Audio Visual solutions – guide design and implementation of AV systems.
- Engineering systems – support implementation of BMS, Access Control, and Security systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align infrastructure solutions with project objectives.
- Provide technical recommendations to enhance scalability, security, and performance.
- Work closely with vendors and external partners to facilitate successful implementation.
Location: (in-office) Brisbane City, Australia
Contract: Full-Time till June 2025
Day Rate: $1,265.00 / day including superannuation
